How to Build a Vacation in Hawaii

For many years now, my daughter and I have wanted to have a vacation together in Hawaii. It was discussed often. Finally the time came to build a vacation in Hawaii. Sitting down, and discussing what islands we wanted to see, the flights, the car, and the activities, along with lodging there was a lot to consider. We are from Michigan, and didn’t want a lot of stops between Detroit, and Hawaii. It was fortunate my daughter works for the Marriot Hotel Chain, and so we found a Marriot that offered a package. For $1099.00 per person, you got the flight from Los Angeles, the room in a four star hotel, three nights stay with breakfast included, and the fourth day is free. Now four days doesn’t seem like much, two weeks is what I felt would be more preferable. So we got on the internet to see what other sites would help build a vacation in Hawaii for longer than 4 days.

To build a vacation in Hawaii, it’s good to know what activities you want to engage in while there. Is this the type of vacation where lying on the beach, relaxing and taking in the beautiful ocean views is the activity of choice? Or will it be a lot of sight seeing, and activity. Fortunately Hawaii accommodates both types of vacations. We decided for the middle of the road some vegging on the beach, and some well chosen activities. In my research to build a vacation in Hawaii, I found a wonderful site, which does everything for you. It’s called stayinginparadice.com. This site is good to build a vacation in Hawaii, because it has air fair, lodging, food, activities, all in one place, and all done from the comfort of your computer. The thing I worry about is I don’t know these people. This is a once in a lifetime thing for my daughter and me, and with brand names like the Marriot, you are almost guaranteed a good room, food, and activities. However, if one has to budget money, this site maybe a good place to go. The activities they offer sound wonderful. We choose a helicopter ride to see the islands, Hiking, and Biking, a Luau Party, and Whale watching. When you book with this company, they do all the paperwork before you arrive so that all you have to do is enjoy the activities. This site also has lodging options. Not everyone wants to stay at a four star hotel, so condominiums, and townhouses are listed here. They have full kitchens, and are air conditioned, with jet tubs, and pools. Many are located near shopping, golfing, and are right on the sugar beaches of Maui.

To build a vacation in Hawaii, takes a lot of planning, and research. Decide how long you want to stay and how many stops you want on the flights out there. Decide what kind of accommodations you want, hotel, or condominium. Pick a few activities but leave time to just drink in the beauty of this land. The best place to find all this information to build a vacation in Hawaii is the internet. Follow up this with a visit to a reputable travel agent. One this about this type of trip, is you want it to be hassle free. Planning will do that. We haven’t taken the trip yet, but we talk about it at length, and it’s going to happen, and soon.
